Comedian Russell Brand released on bail after incident with photographer at airport


Russell Brand was arrested at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Friday after an alleged altercation with a photographer.

The comedian was accompanying fiancée Katy Perry - who was jetting
to Las Vegas for her hen do with Rihanna - when the incident occured.

'About 1.50pm today, Los Angeles Airport Police responded to Terminal 5
to a report of a battery involving a celebrity and a commercial
photographer,' states LA Airport Police spokesman Belinda Nettles. 

Katy, 25, alleges on Twitter that the paparazzo tried to take an inappropriate shot and Russell defended her.

She Tweeted: 'If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my
dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me. #standbyyourman
#don't f*** with the Brands.'

Russell, 35, was released on $20,000 (£12,800) bail. His spokespeople have not yet made any comment about the incident.

Davina McCall has revealed that she told her 8-year-old daughter that takingheroin was 'fantastic'.

The Big Brother host - who battled drug addiction as a teenager - says she explained to Holly that the illegal susbstance felt so good that she quickly became addicted. 

'Recently, because of something onRadio 1, we had to have a drugs conversation,' says Davina, 42.

'Holly asked me: "What do they feel like?"' If I told her that heroin didn't feel nice and then she tried it and it did, she'll think: "Mum was lying."

'But if I say: "Heroin is so fantastic you'll want to take it again, then you'll 

get addicted, which is horrible," that's honest and more frightening.'

Davina hopes being candid will help her kids turn to her when they have a problem. 

'If you have an open relationship with your
children, those really massive conversations, drugs, sex, alcohol,
happen naturally,' she tells Easy Living.

Sharon Osbourne didn't believe that Dannii Minogue hadn't been slagging her off in interviews.

Kelly Osbourne has called Dannii Minogue 'a devil' on her MissKellyOTwitter page.

The 25-year-old is angry about Dannii's new autobiography My Story, which relates the story of her very public 'spat' with Sharon Osbourne in 2007.

'The best thing to happen to Dannii's career was that my mother hated her she needs to shut her mouth and concentrate on motherhood! Kelly rants.

'I will be the first one to admit that my mother did not play her cards right when (it) came to Dannii but trust me when I say Dannii is the devil.'

In her new book Dannii, 38, recalls thatSharon burst into her dressing room on her 36th birthday - the night of her first X Factor live show - and berated her.

'"Sharon snapped, 'All
this b****cks in the press is ruining my life. You could be telling them
I'm a nice person but instead you're adding fuel to the fire by saying
nothing."' writes Dannii.

'I told her: "Sharon, I've never said anything bad about you, and I wouldn't say anything bad about you".

'The minute she [Sharon] left, I burst into tears. Someone I admired greatly had relentlessly bawled in my face for 20 minutes and ruined not only what should have been one of the best nights of my life but my birthday as well.'
